Have we become so politically correct, we won't say something about religion is morally wrong when we think so?

How many people do you know who would say they think what's going on in Islamic countries because of religion is wrong and be very open about it? Have we become so politically correct we bend over backwards not to offend people who clearly are doing things that shouldn't be justifiable? Like honor killings, female circision, and the like. Do we feel that because it's their "culture", it should be left alone even when we know in our hearts it's wrong?
