Friends or could we be more?

so i am finally talking to the guy i liked. ive been likeing him for about 9 months and he asked for my number... so we started texting and everything but we dont talk in person its just a hi bye sorta thing =) and i have been noticing that he has been looking at me almost all the time, and when ever he sees me he trys walking up to me but leaves because i think he gets to shy!? and he says that i am cute, and that i make him blush...and i told him that i liked him alot and have feelings for him..... he didnt say anything back...and i was ttxing him today and i always say whats up homie and all that stuff and then he says you know you mean baby whn you say homie!? so then i told him do you want me to start callling you bby? and he said it doesnt matter and then i told him.... do you or not then he says basically im saying im fine with you calling me baby so now i call him my bby....but when i say that i feel like we are going out its like really awkward saying that to him. =) does he want to be more then friends also sometimes we give each other eye contact... for a little while then we look away...... so why does he want me to start calling him bby like alll of the sudden like i dont get it? plzz help me! =)
