I just wanted to know if my "binge" nights are not totally out of control. I am in really good shape and eat a healthy diet but sometimes, like the woman i am, i have those nights were i just want to munch on everything. I try really hard to "snack" on good things but I can't always help it. I'll eat tons of crackers or cereal or whatever. I feel like i go overboard. I've noticed with my setup the differences between the two (I.e swapped them over) that the Athlon running at 3.0Ghz with memory set via bios @ 800Mhz is faster than the Phenom at the same rate playing heavy graphics dependent games/apps (AMD/ATi Radeon HD 4850).Setting the memory to 1066Mhz(bios) finally kicks the Phenom into gear and takes the gfx card with it(extra bandwidth and all).Here's the fun bit - using amd overdrive utility (the motherboard one not the catalyst one) in auto mode it boosts the Athlon to 3.4Ghz but winds down the Phenom to 2.2Ghz but still shows only 2-3% gain for the Athlon but the Phenom gets a 18-20% boost at a lower clock rate ????.Anyone else seen this with either AMD or Intel chips before?

Hand made pencil / cosmetic case zipper crooked.?

iv been learning how to sew lil pencil cases. after machine sewing the sides together, i hand stitch the zipper on( no other way) the lil pouches i make are adorable but when i finish my hours and hours of hand stitching i look down and notice that the zipper is crooked with the base of the pouch. the lady who taught me how to make these kinda has the same problem. i brainstormed and thought it might be that i cut the fabric crooked but i remade it and it happened again! i wouldn't mind so much but im trying to sell these so i need it to look "perfect". anyone got any ideas??

I just went to the dentist this morning for a root c. A piece of the drill bit broke off into the c. It is a pretty good size too. I am not being charged for the root c (today that is) but I was referred to a endodontist. This one is going to cost me $98 for consultation, $150 - $300 for the removal of the instrument piece, and $980 to finish the root c even though it was almost finished. I was driving an hour to get to this dentist because they were allowing me to make payments that suited me. My insurance recently expired and I am low on funds. The endodontist wants all the money in full tomorrow. I know that it is a good thing that the dentist is not charging me for the root c that was completed today, but should they not be held responsible for the other bills I am going to have due to their mistake? I just adopted an adult dachshund and ive never had this problem ever with any dog. When I first brought him home I created a spot on the porch for him to pee and he used it but had several accidents on the carpet as well. as i began to follow the regimen of watching him 24/7 and crate training so there would be no more carpet accidents he just stopped going to the bathroom completely. hes been holding it now for nearly 30hrs. theres no reason he cant use the porch, its clean and away from his food and bedding. i even left him alone so as not to be staring at him....i know the second i leave him alone in the house he'll go on the carpet but i refuse to lose this battle but at the same time i dont want him to get an infection from holding it. My corner of the office is being used as a storage unit for old files?

I work in an office that has way too many files. I sit in the back of the office and since space is a precious commodity, the management has started stacking boxes of files about five feet away behind me. The boxes are cardboard and not stable. Two days ago they fell and I got up just in time to avoid getting hit. They stacked the boxes in a way that they are more stable now but I'm still nervous about them falling on me. I've spoken to the management about this but they say the boxes are stacked in a more stable way now and it won't happen again. I used to live with a really close (male) friend/roommate.(Andy) He always liked me, but I was never attracted to him physically, and it was a VERY high maintenance friendship. Andy was emotional and moody, was verbally abusive when he didn't get his way, and dependent on other people for his happiness. Everyone knew that he was in love with me, but I always made it clear that I was not interested. I was just recovering from a breakdown- I had been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I was successfully off my medication, and attended DBT therapy. I was on my way to recovery and doing very well, I had not dated in over a year, and decided to go to a movie with a guy to celebrate. Andy reacted to this by turning mutual friends against me, saying I had lead him on. (not true) He sulked around for a couple days, and then things returned mostly to normal, but I noticed he was avoiding me. I started talking to my childhood sweetheart (Jeff) on MSN about it and my recovery. Jeff and I became really close and started talking about dating seriously, but he was over 5000kms away. Andy became increasingly jealous, and started talking down to me a lot. We had a talk about it and Andy said he was sorry. We became closer, and he confided that he had been abused as a child. (I never told anyone this) I offered to set him up with my psychiatrist, but he said no. I continued talking to Jeff regularly. Andy was still jealous though, he would scream at me one day, and confess his love for me the next. I decided that I had to move out for my own mental health, and Andy seemed ok with it. When I started packing, it started a huge fight, and Andy said he was going to kill himself. I was scared, but I thought it was just him being dramatic. I noticed that he had circled the day after my move on the calendar in (what I thought was) red ink, but he made a dumb excuse about having my room's carpet cleaned that day. The next day I noticed cut marks on his arm, but pretended I hadn't. When he left for work, I snuck into his room to look at the calendar again. It was his blood. I heard a car door slam and went running, but I tripped, and went face first into the floor. I realized it was our neighbor, and had badly winded myself, so I just sat there for a second dazed about what I had discovered. When I went to get up, I noticed something shining under his bed. It was a scalpal, and there was also several bottles of pills. I called his parents, and we waited for him to come home. He freaked out, called me a F-ing B****, and sped off in his truck. We had to call the cops to find him, and they took him to the hospital in handcuffs. I moved out, and his parents moved him into their house to watch him. He was diagnosed with Bipolar Depression, and PTSD. He called me after 4 months, and thanked me for saving his life. I had finished therapy and decided that I needed a big change to start my new life- so I moved across the country to be with Jeff. Andy and I started talking regularly. There was no way we could start a relationship now, and he couldn't talk to his other friends about his suicidal thoughts, so he confided in me again. After being with Jeff for almost 2 years, we found out we were pregnant. I was scared, because I had been before, but the guy I had been with demanded that I have an abortion. When I had told him there was no way, he punched me in the stomach and caused internal bleeding and a tear in my uterus. I lost the baby, and was told that I would probably never be able to have a baby, or pregnancy that wouldn't endanger my life. I didn't want to tell anyone I was pregnant, as I would most likely miscarry, and I didn't want everyone to know such a personal thing. I decided to tell Andy, and swore him to secrecy. He promised me several times that I could trust him. The very next day, his sister wrote me on facebook, saying congrats on the pregnancy. I called him and he said he was drunk the night before and told his friends (who know me) and his sister. I haven't talked to him in over a year, I avoid his calls, and messages. Luckily, we now have a son. Andy keeps sending me messages on Facebook, and Jeff says I should forgive him, but I'm having problems seeing any value in the relationship. I think he did it on purpose to get back at me for telling his parents. I now have a son who relies on my mental strength, and I think being in contact with him might actually do more bad than good. What do you think, and would you ever talk to him again? Why?

Being a Reds fan I would say def. trade Adam Dunn. There is no reason to keep a guy who strikes out 200 plus times a year, and bats less than .200 in scoring position. Yes, he hits 40 HRs a year, but they are rarely with guys on. Another thing this guy has gotten worse over the years instead of trying to improve himself. Don't even get me started on his fielding because it is rediculous. Reds should trade Dunn and save the 13 mill. next year and buy some pitching. There was this book I read at least 7 or 8 years ago. Is it normal for a canine spay incision to drain pinkish liquid?

I got my 11 m/o GSD spayed yesterday (bad idea because I can't call my vet over the weekend!) and the incision is slightly pink, the swelling seems to be normal, but a small amount of this drainage has leaked out, about a a teaspoonful at at a time-twice since the surgery. My 16 mth old is on her 3rd mild cold in 3 mths; should I take her out of playgroups till end of winter?

She's had mild fever with coughs and runny nose each time, and though nothing serious, it takes about 10 days each time to fully recover. Though she's average height for her age, she's a bit underweight (not much of an eater and very active, so having coughs/runny nose/achy throat doesn't help our feeding cause). I'm considering taking her out of playgroups till end of cold season (does it ever end?). She goes to playgroups 3 times a week (1 hour each). The downside of taking her out of them is that she really loves them, and they have helped her tremendously in learning to walk, talk, paint/draw, dance. She's very active and will get bored just being out for regular walks... Should I take her out of playgroups, if so for how long; or is being sick just part of the deal, and do the developmental benefits of a playgroup outweight a few bad sleeps and sucky meal times?

After all these years I've finally managed to put it into words: my dad is a control freak and a bully. Who had fun at David Archuleta's concert?

I saw David in the Idol tour and got an autograph afterward. I could not go to a Jingle Ball. But I went to one of his solo tour concerts. Unfortunately I am a wimp with cold. It was 32 degrees out and I did not wait in line all day for a good spot. But I never imagined I would not be able to see. When we got inside we were with aout 30-40 others who could not even fit into the room with the stage. We were stuck in a lobby with no view and no speakers. I knew there was a balcony but we could not see how crowded it was. The guard at the stairs said we could go up but that if we did, we would not be allowed back down because they were over capacity. He said at least we would be able to see up there. He was wrong. People were already 3-deep at the balcony rails up there and I could not find a single spot where I could see. I am short but my fiance is 6-foot and he could not see either. So I was kinda bummed all concert because I really wanted to see him. I was also cold and I had left my coat in my car (the venue suggested doing that). So when it was over, I was too cold to wait outside for an hour hoping he would come out. So I failed all around. LOL

My primary uses would be gaming and school work. It has a AMD Phenom II N660 3.0ghz processor, 4gb ram, and a 5gb hard drive. it has a HD radeon 6470 discrete graphics card with a Graphics Memory Capacity of 512mb. It also has 2mb of cache. The games i will be playing are ins creed brotherhood, and maybe brink. Can this laptop handle those games? I looked at the requirements of ins creed a bit. it says the processor minimum needs to be a AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4GHZ or better. I am unfamiliar with this processor so I'm not sure if I'm covered.

Why does Windows media player 11 installed on my system cannot play mp4 files ? Moreover Same WMP Installed on my Laptop with same Windows XP plays the same file easily. Want to study medicine in Mexico, need help with premed prerequisites...?

I am a mid-life career changer, i have a BA in liberal studies but I have decided I want to be a doctor. There is a medical school in mexico about 15 minutes from the border so I can live/work in the USA and attend medical school in mexico. The school is approved by the California board of medical examiners so it is legit. there are many doctors licensed in the USA that have graduated from this school. The school has no premedical required courses for enrollment. However, I am aware that all states in the US require a certain number of credits of college before they will issue a medical license. Does anyone know where I can find the specific undergraduate requirements of each state? Particularly California and Nevada? I have searched and searched online and cant seem to find this information. Basically, I have already been accepted at this medical school, but I need to know what cles I need to take to make sure I can get licensed in the states after I graduate from medical school, p the USMLE exams, and do a residency in the states somewhere.
